Matrix
An open protocol - like email or IRC! - Matrix has the huge benefit of being entirely decentralized and not tied to a singular client. Matrix organizes communities into rooms, and there is a public Core Decay room here:

While the Matrix community is currently very small, it is the best place to reach out to me directly, and my hope is that there will be a small but closely knit community gradually emerging over time!
Discord
3D Realms, the game's publisher, also operates an official Discord server at discord.gg/3drealms which is quite active. I do not use Discord myself, but other fans may be around!
