Most Anticipated Immsim?

I've noticed quite a hefty amount of early-access and upcoming immsims that will (hopefully) hit the market soon. So, what got you the most excited? Besides Core Decay of course!

For me it has to be Corpus Edax and the demo only solidified my interest. Making physics a key component of gameplay is always pure cinema in my opinion.

EDIT: If anyone wants suggestions or "proof" of all the upcoming immsims that have been teased or something like that lmk I'll gladly put a list together :)

Not quite an imsim in the most traditional sense, but Streets of Rogue 2 is looking quite promising and it is releasing soon! Always fun to see developers experiencing with approaching imsim principles through different genres and design ideas.

I enjoyed the original Streets of Rogue from a gameplay standpoint, though the overall presentation and tone wasn't quite my cup of tea - that's far more subjective though. Definitely will give the sequel a look nonetheless!

Alas I've been too preoccupied with Core Decay to really do a deep dive into recent indie immersive sims, but this thread will be a fantastic resource once there's time! :D

Ivar Hill Yeah the tone wasn't of my liking either and, you know, the fact it's 2D and all... But the second game looks ridiculously fun. Also, it may sound wrong or something, but I'm glad you are preoccupied with CD, the overwhelming excitement I have for it is on another league :)

Spoke Man, RetroSpace. Always a treat to see the dev posting something cool on /r/ImmersiveSim/. Sadly I'm not that fond of the super sci-fi angle of exploring one big space ship, I'm much more into more 'normal' maps haha. Neverlooted Dungeon is another good pick but the dev said he's pretty much "polishing it" before release for a whiiiile now which makes me a tad nervous...

Just to add some more to this threaad I'm looking forward to these as well;
Sorceress, because I'm a sucker for highly stylized/cartoony aesthetics.
DEEP STATE, because I'm even more of a sucker for those gradient-ridden, pixelated, colorful 90's game aesthetics (despite the game looking more like a GoldenEye spiritual successor with immsim elements thrown in...)

And finally, whatever Consumer Softproducts is cooking up after Cruelty Squad. Such a raw, disgusting mess of a game. Truly beautiful in its own insane way.

Most anticipated (besides Core Decay) is hard to say, probably RetroSpace. Prey 2017 is one of my favorites so i lean into the space station gone wrong type. The environments in that game are so great and immersive.

I'm also keeping an eye for Neverlooted Dungeon, i really like how that game executes lightning. It reminds me of Penumbra games.

It can be discussed, but some would say that Zelda Tears of the Kingdom had immersive sim sensibilities. If so, the new zelda game releasing in september seems to also fit the bill. Seems like you can copy objects and summon them into the world wherever you want and combine objects in a variety of ways to give you a ton of freedom to overcome each challenge.

I think it looks very interesting.

I would say, for me, I'm waiting for Gloomwood..
Either it's full release, or the next update. Which a friend that's working on it told me the next update should round out what's already there and give you a sizeable amount of content.

Blade Sword

cicadak Gloomwood seems to be a lot like Thief to some extent. I think this game is more open with its gameplay where you can either fight or find more pacifist ways to deal with a situation.

Corner Freak

Monomyth is coming soon to Early Access. It's influenced by classic dungeon crawlers (UUW) and is closer to early immersive sims, but it's still something to look forward to.

Very curious to see how Judas turns out.
I have my own personal issues with Ken Levine's writing..

Right now, outside of Core Decay, my main focus is on Fallen Aces and Gloomwood. Waiting for their full releases each, I don't think either really work that well for the Early Access model.
And, while I absolutely LOVE Arkane. I'm not that sure how I feel about Blade. One, I'm not a big Marvel guy.. and I'm a bit tired of all the Marvel stuff. Two.. not saying Arkane can't pull it off, but, it just feels like an odd pairing to me.
